On Friday we are closed to the public for administration and staff development purposes.

We are at 545 Broadway, one block west of Osborne.

Rainbow Resource Centre is located on Treaty 1 Territory and the National Homeland of the Red River Métis. Our work across Manitoba spans the treaty territories and the ancestral lands of the Anishinaabeg, Anishininewuk, Dakota Oyate, Denesuline, Inuit and Nehethowuk Nations.

Parking Your Car

We have a small parking lot behind our building, however most of it is for tenants of 549 Broadway. You are welcome to park in the stalls on the south side of the lot (closest to Broadway)

There is free two-hour daytime parking on:

  • Colony St. north of Broadway
  • Young St. south of Broadway
  • Spence St. south of Broadway
  • Broadway (west of the Centre, not directly in front)

There is free one-hour daytime parking on:

  • Good St.
  • Balmoral St.
  • Young St. north of Broadway
  • Spence St. north of Broadway

There is no time limit on evenings and Sundays for street parking. Always refer to on-street signage for parking rules and limitations, as Rainbow Resource Centre is not responsible for tickets or tows.

On weekends and after 5:00 PM on weekdays, you may park in the Canada Life parking lot across the street from Rainbow Resource Centre at no cost in our designated parking stalls along Balmoral street (corner of Balmoral and Broadway). Please note that overnight parking is not permitted.

Parking Your Bike

We do not currently have a place to lock-up your bike. If you are coming for an appointment or programming, please feel free to bring your bike inside, but please be mindful of muddy wheels. Rainbow Resource Centre is not responsible for lost or stolen property.

Accessibility

Our front door has a ramp and powered door, and from here, all main floor spaces are accessible. We have a lift that reaches the second and third floors. Washrooms are fully wheelchair accessible.

If you are planning to come to the Centre for an evening or weekend group, please contact us ahead of time to discuss and plan for accessibility. We will ensure group facilitators know you are coming and can assist with entering and navigating the building.
