Media Inquiries

For media inquiries, please email NoreenM@rainbowresourcecentre.org.

Parking Your Car

We have a small parking lot behind our building, off Wardlaw Avenue, that is open to the public.

Do not park in the small lot beside our building, off Scott Street, as it belongs to a different organization.

There is plenty of street parking on Scott Street, Wardlaw Avenue, Gertrude Avenue, and Stradbrook Avenue. There is no time limit for street parking, but be aware of “No Stopping” zones. Ensure you are parked far enough away from sidewalks and intersections to avoid tickets, as parking patrol officers are in the neighbourhood daily.

Parking Your Bike

A bike rack is located next to our front entrance.

Bus Stops

The following busses stop within walking distance of the Rainbow Resource Centre: 16, 18, 39, 58, 60, 68, 99, and 185. These busses all have stops on Osborne Street. The 68, 99, and 185 also stop on Stradbrook Avenue. The 99 also stops on Donald Street.

Rainbow Resource Centre is within walking distance of Harkness Station (7 minute walk) and Osborne Station (8 minute walk). The following busses stop at both stations: 64, 65, 66, 137, 160, 161, 162, 163, 170, 180, 181, and 183. Bus 185 stops at Osborne Station only.

Accessibility

We are working on improving accessibility. Our front door has a ramp and powered door, and from here, all main floor spaces, including OARS and The Qube, are accessible. Unfortunately, our washrooms are too small for most wheelchairs.

If you are planning to come to the Centre for an evening or weekend group, please contact us ahead of time to discuss and plan for accessibility. We will ensure group facilitators know you are coming and can assist with entering and navigating the building.

Please contact us if you would like to discuss your specific accessibility concerns, so we can ensure easy access for you on your visit.
