  • Youth Programs at RRC

    RRC offers 2SLGBTQ+ youth a fun, positive space to learn new skills, create projects, and celebrate our identities. Programming focuses on fostering resilience, increasing self-esteem and self-confidence while building social networks, contacts, and peer support.

  • PFFoTI: Parents, Family and Friends of Trans Individuals

    PFFoTI is a social support group that is here to talk, listen, support and work to understand the thoughts, feelings, and conflicts that often go hand-in-hand with having a loved one who identifies as transgender. PFFoTI meets on the second and fourth Tuesday of the month, 7:00pm - 9:00pm, year-round in the group room at the Rainbow Resource Centre.

  • The Family Acceptance Project

    The Family Acceptance Project® is a research, intervention, education and policy initiative that works to prevent health and mental health risks for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) children and youth, including suicide, homelessness and HIV – in the context of their families, cultures and faith communities. They use a research-based, culturally grounded approach to help ethnically, socially and religiously diverse families to support their LGBT children.

  • LGBTQ Parenting Network

    The LGBTQ Parenting Network is a program of Sherbourne Health Centre. They support lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans and queer parenting through research, training, resources and community development.

  • My Kid is Gay

    “My Kid is Gay” is a first-of-its-kind digital presence, inclusive of videos, advice, and resources, dedicated exclusively toward helping parents understand their Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, Intersex, and Asexual children. Subscribe to receive their “Coming Out With Care” package. The package includes a welcome video by our co-founder, Kristin Russo, advice on commonly asked questions, a list of curated LGBTQ support organizations, a guided journaling and coloring page, an exclusive excerpt from This Is a Book for Parents of Gay Kids (Chronicle, 2014), and a music playlist!
