Bre Calma, Training and Education Coordinator

Bre Calma (they/them) is a non-binary Queer who lives and works in the territories of the Anishinaabeg, Cree, Dakota, Dene, Métis, and Oji-Cree Nations.

Bre joined the Rainbow Resource Centre in 2021 as the Training and Education Coordinator. They are passionate about the impact education can have on people of all ages.

Bre holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Education from the University of Winnipeg, a Graduate Certificate in Sexual Health Education from the University of Alberta, and is a Canadian Certified Inclusion Professional (CCIP).

Dene Guillas, School Equity and Inclusion Coordinator

Dene 2023 a

Dene (he/they) is a proud Métis Two-Spirit, pansexual, transgender man and father who has always lived and worked on Treaty One Territory, the territories of the Anishinaabeg, Cree, Oji-Cree, Dene, Dakota and Métis Nations.

He has been lucky enough to be involved in the training and education field for almost 20 years. Whether it was in a classroom environment, community centre, conference, or small gatherings, he has always tried to make sure learning is inclusive to everyone.

His love of helping others led him to Rainbow Resource Centre in 2019, where he works as the School Equity & Inclusion Coordinator. This has allowed his passion of interacting and speaking to others to turn into a way to give back to the community. Helping to raise awareness for our youth has given him a purpose that is extremely close to his heart.

Romeo Gauthier, Training and Education Coordinator

Romeo Gauthier (they/them) is a queer, transmasc non-binary person, and white settler who lives and works on in the territories of the Anishinaabeg, Cree, Dakota, Dene, Métis, and Oji-Cree Nations. They are excited to join the Rainbow Resource Centre as the Training and Education Coordinator with a focus on healthcare and the care of older adults.

Romeo holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Women and Gender Studies from the University of Manitoba. With a background in health promotion, they are passionate about community-centred care and ongoing education.
