"2SLGBTQ+ Awareness, Inclusion, and Affirmation" w/ Bre Calma

Many of us have been taught that sex and gender exist in a binary: man or woman, girl or boy, male or female, straight or gay, masculine or feminine. Not only are we often taught these binaries, but we are also often taught that these binaries are exclusive and rigid. But that is not the truth! Scientific, humanitarian, and culturally inclusive perspectives on sex and gender show us that we all exist on a wide and infinite spectrum of identities and attractions and experiences! Join us as Bre Calma (they/them), Rainbow Resource Centre's Education Coordinator, leads us through a discussion about gender and sexuality. Bre will share their knowledge with us, and set us off on a path of affirmation, inclusivity, and awareness! Last year, this presentation was held online, this year, it's in person at 545 Broadway from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m. complete with coffee & snacks! Want to attend virtually?
