Every Pride, Rainbow Resource Centre is grateful for the generosity of our community through donations made by independent businesses, crafters, creators, artisans, and more. This year is no exception—this page collects some of the folks who are raising funds for Rainbow Resource Centre. My name is Sarah Martens; a proud Métis and 2SLGBTQ+ public school teacher. I also own my own small business where I sell my handmade beadwork. I have created a line of earrings and keychains, just for Pride! 15% from every sale will be donated to the Rainbow Resource Centre.

Requiescat; Rebirth

May 29th, 7:30, Young United Church (222 Furby)

I’m looking forward to sharing a new recital “Requiescat; Rebirth” with you all at the end of this month. The program is full of repertoire I’ve performed at McGill and will perform there next year. In a spin on the typical recital, I will perform some of my pop songs to provide pseudo translations of the non-English repertoire. Some of these songs are unreleased and have been written recently!

The songs explore life’s cyclical nature and centres on something we can all relate to: entering life’s newest chapter. Something I’ve been no stranger to this year. Let’s share our experiences together :)

Tickets are available here.

This recital will take place during pride week in Winnipeg. Proceeds will be donated to The Rainbow Harmony Project and The Rainbow Resource Centre.
