Gratitude for Mike Tutthill
Rainbow Resource Centre wishes to extend immense gratitude and love for Executive Director Mike Tutthill, who recently left Rainbow Resource Centre to follow his dream of being an adult educator at Red River College.
Mike began as Executive Director six years ago, with his first day landing on our biennial GSA conference, and his first duty as Executive Director was to give opening remarks to 500 people! Since then, Mike has guided Rainbow Resource Centre through immense growth, development, and change. He helped the Centre grow its programming and services for older adults, newcomers, and two-spirit communities. And he saw the Centre expand its space twice and the staff nearly double in number.
We thank Mike for all of the passion, dedication, energy, thoughtfulness, and leadership he put into his role as Executive Director and we wish him all the best as he continues on to new adventures.
While Rainbow Resource Centre undertakes a search for a new Executive Director, the role has been temporarily split, with Liana Lutz as Interim Director of Operations and Sarah Dack as Interim Director of Community and Stakeholder Relations.
