It’s Okay to Be Different cleverly delivers the messages of acceptance, understanding, and self-confidence. Equally whimsical and heartfelt, The Earth Book is a sweet homage to our beautiful planet, inspiring readers of all ages to do their part to keep the Earth happy and healthy. This is My Hair is a funny exploration of how silly hair can be and that no matter how your hair looks, to always feel good about yourself. From the company that brought you Good Night Moon and The Very Hungry Caterpillar, Mermaid Theatre of Nova Scotia’s unique adaptations of children’s classics have enchanted audiences of more than six million on four continents.

MTYP is also hosting our first ever Drag Storytime, as part of the It’s Okay to Be Different run of shows.

Join us on Sunday, January 29 at 2 p.m. for an hour of literature with local Drag Royalty. This is a free event & all ages are welcome! No RSVP required - storytime will begin immediately following the 1 p.m. performance of our Mainstage show, It's Okay to Be Different: Stories by Todd Parr.
