BIPOC Showcase and Party (18+) – Ruby Chopstix's The Velvet Rope

The next big chapter of Ruby Chopstix’s The Velvet Rope opens on October 5 and 6. Presented with the support of Rainbow Resource Centre.

Celebrate and experience local BIPOC in this mini festival featuring a business and organization showcase, panels, a performance showcase and party, and an all ages Drag Brunch! This space is dedicated to all BIPOC to live their truth and feel safe, but everyone is welcome.
The full weekend of events includes:
- Business and Organization Showcase - Oct 5 from 2 - 6 PM
- Queer BIPOC in their Profession Panel - Oct 5 from 2:45 - 3:45 PM
- Navigating the World of Drag Panel - Oct 5 from 4 - 5 PM
- BIPOC Showcase and Party (18+) - Oct 5 starting at 8 PM ($15 Cover)
- Drag Brunch at Capital Grill & Bar (All ages) - Oct 6 starting at 11 AM ($15 Cover)
* This event is designed to celebrate and be a safe space for ALL BIPOC. All are welcome but please remember to provide space for BIPOC.*
