Mariana Ribolli

Mariana (she/her/ela/dela) is a proud queer Brazilian Latina dedicated to her role within the Rainbow Resource Centre team, where she fosters resilience, promotes healing, and encourages growth within the 2SLGBTQ+ community.

As a culturally informed drama therapist, Mariana creates safe spaces to share stories and experiences, supporting emotional processing and honoring individuals as the experts of their own journeys. She takes an anti-oppressive, trauma-informed, and humanistic approach in her practice. Mariana specializes in offering the possibility of using drama therapy tools during sessions that provide supportive settings and accessible environments, especially when words alone may not fully convey one's needs.

With extensive work experience in Brazil and Canada, Mariana has provided drama therapy to diverse communities, including immigrants, refugees, and adults with disabilities within the 2SLGBTQ+ community. Mariana holds an MA in Drama Therapy and a BA in Drama Education. She passionately integrates cultural humility into her work, viewing healing, processing, and social change as intertwined elements enhanced through drama.
