Kelsey Lambert


Kelsey moved from Vancouver to Winnipeg in the spring of 2017 and has been very involved with the LGBT2SQ+ community since she got here. She has been the Volunteer Coordinator for the University of Winnipeg’s Pride Committee and the Vice-Chair and Facilitator of Out There Winnipeg Sports and Recreation.

She has also volunteered with the Rainbow Resource Centre through youth programming, Camp Aurora, various events and also led a workshop at the spring 2018 GSA Conference titled “Barriers for Queers in Sports”.

Kelsey is currently a student at the University of Winnipeg in the Urban and Inner City Studies program. She is also interested in Women and Gender Studies and Education.

She enjoys working with the youth at the Centre as well as advocating for them in schools. In her role, she provides support and education to school teachers, staff and students to help create safer, more inclusive spaces for LGBT2SQ+ youth.
