Christina Hajjar

Christina (she/her/they/them) is a queer femme first-generation Lebanese-Canadian artist, writer, and organizer. She is passionate about collaboration and skills-sharing as tools of community-building and resistance!

Christina’s creative practice includes zines, poetry, performance art, and food. She has worked, volunteered, and participated in various art galleries, artist-run centres, and art collectives to explore the relationship between art, identity, and social justice.

In her role as the Youth Programs Coordinator at Rainbow Resource Centre, she develops and delivers programming for 13-21 year old LGBT2SQ+ and allies. She enjoys incorporating intersectional feminism, queer education, creative expression, and community partnerships wherever possible.

Christina graduated from the University of Winnipeg with degrees in Women’s and Gender Studies and Business and Administration.
